How much will a container hold?

The outside dimensions of Cubeit containers are approximately 8’ wide, 8’ tall and 16’ long, and are designed to hold the contents of 3-4 rooms. Each household is unique, so it is important to take the time to properly assess how much container space you require.

What is Cubeit portable storage?

Cubeit Portable Storage is an easy, convenient solution for local and long distance moving, storage and renovations. How Cubeit works:

1. We will deliver a Cubeit container to your home or job site.
2. You take your time and pack your container.
3. When you’re ready, we will move your container to your new location.
4. If you need to store your belongings for a while, you can keep the container on your property for as long as you need, or we can store it at one of our secure Cubeit locations.

Can I specify the time that my container will be delivered?

Although we try our best to accommodate everyone’s unique needs, unfortunately, we cannot specify a container delivery time.

Deliveries and pick ups are scheduled anytime after 7am, so clients are responsible to ensure there is adequate clearance and accessibility for the desired location of the container by 7am on delivery/pick up day. To ensure the container is available when required, be sure to have your container delivered the day before you plan on loading/unloading it.

How long do I have to load and unload my container?

Your container, your schedule! With Cubeit, you have the freedom and flexibility to pack and move at your own pace. Note that Cubeit containers are rented in increments of 4 weeks (28 days).

How should I pack my Cubeit container for long distance travel?

Packing your belongings properly helps ensure a successful and stress-free move. Pack your Cubeit container as tightly as possible to:

1. Maximize storage space,
2. Prevent shifting to protect your belongings and,
3. Save you money!

Will my belongings shift within the container during transportation?

Cubeit has a proprietary delivery system which minimizes shifting of contents inside a container during transportation, and our delivery team is trained to handle your container with proper care and consideration.

How long will it take to ship my container to my new home?

The exact time required depends on the total distance moved and on the locations of your starting place and destination. Depending on if you are planning a local or long distance move, allow for a total of 7-14 business days delivery time.

If I need storage, where will my container be stored?

Cubeit has secure storage sites across Canada. All Cubeit sites are designed to safely store your belongings until you need them. Cubeit will select a location for storage based on your unique needs!
